Award Winning Furniture Design Uses Soap Flakes

The New Designers Peter Walker Award for innovation in furniture design 2007 "uses natural soap flakes as a finish creating very few environmental disadvantages."

Some people have purchased Soap Flakes to maintain their Danish furniture and a few have purchased Soap Flakes to use in putting a soap finish on furniture they build. I say "a few" because I only know about a few. I know next to nothing about how this finish is created or how involved the process is.

It is interesting to see a soap finish as part of a award winning design. Thank you David Irwin.
